About Kolymbia
Kolymbia is a settlement of the Municipality of Afandou on the east coast of the island of Rhodes. It is located in the middle of National Road 95, between Rhodes and Lindos, while it is 5 km from Afandou to the north and 5 km from Archangelos Rhodes to the south. kolymbia was developed in 1935 during the Italian occupation of the Dodecanese, and was called San Benedetto (St. Benedict).
The settlement was renamed kolymbia in 1961. In the early 1980s, the settlement began to develop into a tourist resort.Popular tourist destinations in the surrounding area are the Seven Springs, the Monastery of Panagia Tsampikas and the beach of Tsampika under the hill of the monastery.
The villa abstains from the beach 500m and you can easily reach by walking. The road that connects the coastal settlement with the national road and is about 2 km away, is called “Eucalyptus Street” as there are eucalyptus trees on both sides. Along its southern side are the ruins of a canal opened by the Italians that brought water from the Seven Springs to the fields, while on the north side about the middle of the road are the ruins of the Basilica dating to the 6th century.
Kolymbia settlement is 25 km far from Lindos and Rhodes Town, as it is situated on the east side of the island . On the area of Kolymbia the visitors can find a lot of shops such as restaurants ,coffees , bars , stores etc.
Also, the beach of Kolymbia is considered one of the finest beaches of the island, with a lot of water sports and umbrellas .
Internally the villa is deeply luxurious
On the ground flour there is the living room with satellite TV and an enormous balcony near it, a dining room, a double bedroom with a wardrobe which is neighbored to the adorable pool , an extraordinary kitchen which is fully equipped with (a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a microwave, an oven and finally an electric stove) and of course a large bathroom where you can enjoy a relaxing shower and finally a washing machine. Using the internal staircase we have access to the upper flour.
There are three double huge bedrooms with balconies. In the main one there is an extensive dressing room and a balcony that overlooks the sea and also the whole area of Kolymbia.
Moreover, a commodious bathroom remains that surely satisfies any possible requirement. This place is really unique due to private road ,being super quite as it is pretty close to center town. On top of that the villa’s location is such incredibly wonderful, which helps in that way your spirit to feel absolutely free and calm as well.
